This was a commission by Gerdau Ameristeel for Super Bowl XLIII that I was asked to participate in at the last minute. Without using logos, I was asked to make a metal sculpture using my interpretation of the Steelers. I had the Steel football spun locally in Pittsburgh, PA. Funny enough, the only playoff team that had not been picked was the Steelers, so I took them and then they won the Super Bowl.
